The Hon Dr Pita R Sharples announced as Keynote
There has been a change to one of our 10 Keynote presentations for 2014.
The Hon Dr Pita R Sharples, JP, CBE will be replacing Professor Michael Walker as a keynote presenter on the first day of the conference - Tuesday 25 November.
The recently retired Dr Sharples, has left the NZ Parliament after 6 years as the Minister of Māori Affairs and is looking forward to visiting this years conference and talking to us all about the transformations that are possible through Māori knowledge and research, as well as his experiences advancing Māori issues throughout his professional life
Dr Sharples will be joining nine other keynote presenters at the conference, and is our first keynote for the conference. He will be followed on the Tuesday by Dr. Kamana'opono Crabbe, the Chief Executive Officer of the Office of Hawaiian Affairs.
